Welcome! My name is Sue Hall and I am a Certified Ketogenic Living Coach. I am also the founder of Slender Suzie.
I am a wife to the love of my life. I am also the mother to some truly amazing children. We have four crazy dogs and a beautiful home just outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. Outside of my faith in God, my family is the priority in my life. They come above all else – they are my world!
Where My Journey Began
In 2005, my husband and I lost our son, Austin, after he was born premature. As a result of our loss, I then struggled with depression, PTSD and anxiety. I became an overweight out of shape woman struggling to get back to the fit fun gal I used to be. My health journey really kicked into gear after I landed in the emergency room with stroke like symptoms. It was there that I learned that those issues were a result of my weight, I was topping the charts at 187 pounds and was far from physically active due to my depression.
I came to this pivotal moment where I was absolutely determined to get my life back. Wanting to love myself again, I began searching for solutions and nothing seems to work. That is when I discovered the ketogenic lifestyle!
Then I Discovered Keto
After learning about the power of a Ketogenic Lifestyle and giving it a try for myself. I was completely hooked on the incredible results I was seeing in terms of fat loss, energy levels and clear thinking.
I choose to live a ketogenic lifestyle because I want to be the best mom, wife, friend, and mentor possible. Brain fog and low energy are a thing of the past since becoming ketogenic. Gone are the days of manic mood swings, chronic anxiety, and the lows of seasonal depression. My PTSD episodes still occur but they are more manageable now. As my body has transitioned to using fat for fuel, I experience sustained energy, mental clarity, and more restful sleep. In short, I’m much more fun to be around!

I choose to be a Ketogenic Lifestyle Expert because I want to be the change.
I completed the certification course accredited by both NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America). These are the two most acclaimed and respected fitness trainer organizations in the wellness industry. Both organizations formally recognize the Certified Ketogenic Living Coach course as meeting the high quality standards of educating and training participants to successfully coach individuals in adopting a ketogenic way of eating.
Why I love Keto
Unlike rigid dieting tactics like counting points and containers, there are multiple approaches to ketogenic living. Additionally, I am blessed to have helped some amazing men and women lose weight, reset their hormones, reduce inflammation, and look, feel and DO their best – all with customized and personal 1:1 strategies.
I am a former hunting lodge head chef and true foodie at heart. As a result, I believe that food should be fun to make and taste delicious. Hunger is for the birds! Gone are the days of diets that leave you feeling hungry as well as eating food that tastes like cardboard. I am living proof that you can look and feel amazing, while eating real, delicious, simple whole, fatty foods!
Giving others the gift of fat-burning by teaching them all that I know feels unquestionably rewarding. I also find myself enthralled when I am creating menus that get all of my clients significant results. Subsequently this passion has turned into the heart of my business. As a Certified Ketogenic Living Coach, I pride myself on making ketogenic living simple, quick and delicious.
I teach people how to quickly turn their bodies into fat burners instead of sugar burners. As a result, they feel strong, lean, fit, and clear minded.
